A curated mix of interactive installations, showcases and workshops, A Trail of Delicious Design is the inaugural design campaign hosted in Millenia Walk as part of Singapore Design Week's satellite events. With their strong commitment to design as seen through their brand pillars, architecture and one-of-a-kind tenant brands such as home-grown labels like Grafunkt and Commune, being an official satellite partner allowed Millenia Walk to strongly identify with a design-conscious audience who appreciates considered craft and creativity. 

Featuring a mix of abstracted food textures as well as everyday design items from Millenia Walk, the campaign illustrations are stylized to create visual interest in objects that we tend to gloss over on a daily basis. All of the elements come together into a dynamic visual language that can be applied to a variety of collaterals from print to wayfinding in a myriad of unique compositions.

The anchor showcase of our campaign, Tasteful Spaces saw collaborators Grafunkt, Triceratops, Desinere and LAANK visualising local food favourites as experiential spaces using different design formats and media. Supported by external material sponsors such as Lamitak and MT Tape, Tasteful Spaces featured Chilli Crab, Nasi Lemak, Nonya Kuehs, Rojak as re-imagined interactive zones for the public to explore and enjoy.

Novel Lemak is interpreted by local lifestyle brand Grafunkt as a living space peppered with furniture that is inspired by various elements of Nasi Lemak, for example the banana leaf

A dynamic floral installation by floral artist Triceratops including a few atypical floral elements to replicate the action of frying Chilli Crab in a wok – spy the garlic bulbs and bundled dried chillies that dance like little crabs in the air! 

Inspired by the form and patterns of Nonya Kuehs, local design outfit Desinere created a lounge space with custom-designed kueh-shaped benches and intricate light features.

Local interior design agency LAANK also came on board with an experiential space that pays homage to the diverse ingredients which make up the complex flavours of Rojak.
